# Monime CLI (/docs/developer-resources/cli)

The Monime CLI, `monime`, lets you work with Monime from your terminal. Log in once with your browser, choose the Space you work in, and use the same command in scripts and CI with an access token.

```bash title="Terminal"
monime login
monime status
```

```text title="Output"
  One command on macOS, Linux and Windows, with checksum verification.
- [**Log in and choose a Space**](/docs/developer-resources/cli/login-and-spaces)
  Log in with your browser, switch Spaces and check who you are.
- [**Configuration**](/docs/developer-resources/cli/configuration)
  Properties, named configurations, proxies and environment variables.
- [**CI and scripts**](/docs/developer-resources/cli/ci-and-scripts)
  Authenticate with a token, read JSON output and rely on exit codes.
- [**Dash Dots**](/docs/developer-resources/cli/dot-mini-apps)
  Create, run, build and publish Dash Dots, from the simulator to release.
- [**Command reference**](/docs/developer-resources/cli/command-reference)
  Every command, alias and flag in one place.
## How the CLI sees Monime
The CLI uses the same two ideas as the rest of Monime:
- A **Monimeer** is you, an individual Monime user. You log in to the CLI as a Monimeer, and you can stay logged in as several Monimeers at once.
- A **Space** is an organization that owns resources. A Monimeer can belong to several Spaces, and commands act within the one you choose.
Read [Core concepts](/docs/get-started/core-concepts) for how Monimeers, Spaces and access tokens fit together.
> **Tip:** Run `monime --help`, or `monime <command> --help`, to see the help for any command in your terminal.
