# Listing and review (/docs/products/dash-dots/listing-and-review)

Your listing is your dot's shop window in Dash. You decide what goes in it, and your developers add the name, subtitle and description when they publish. During the beta, you agree the icon and categories with Monime.

## Your listing

Pick the ones a customer would look in first. Your dot can be in more than one.

## Write a clear listing

Say what the dot does, in your customers' words. Write "Buy EDSA units for your meter", not "Smart utility solutions".

For the icon, use your logo on a plain background, with no words. Don't change the name or icon between releases.

## Testers come first

Testers are people you trust, like your staff or a few loyal customers. They try each version before everyone else, who stays on your last release. Your developers add them by their DashTag, the public name each person has in Dash.

## How a version goes live

After your developers publish a version:

1. Monime checks it, and a person at Monime may look too.
2. Your testers get it.
3. When you're happy, your developers release it to everyone.

## When a version is rejected

A version is turned down when it fails Monime's checks, or when the person reviewing it finds a problem. Customers never see it, and they keep the version they have. Monime leaves a note saying why. Fix that and publish again.
