## How Monime Works?

Monime is a single gateway to accept payments from anywhere—connecting your business to both local payment systems and international payment methods through unified, simple integration.

## How may it work for you?

1. **You integrate once** — Connect your business to Monime's API (no need to integrate with dozens of payment providers separately)
2. **Customer pays their way** — Whether your customer is:
   * Local: Using Mobile Money, Digital Wallets, and Banks
   * International: Paying with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay
3. **Monime handles everything** — The platform automatically:
   * Routes payout to the optimal provider (between SAPS and direct provider)
   * Handles failures with automatic retries
   * Standardizes all responses into one consistent format
4. **You get unified operations** — One dashboard for:
   * Real-time payment notifications (whether from Mobile Money or Visa card)
   * Combined reconciliation across all channels
   * Single settlement process
   * Unified reporting for accounting

[//]: # "## Spaces — Multi-Tenancy Reimagined"

[//]: # "At the heart of Monime’s architecture is a uniquely expressive and secure multi-tenant model built around the concept of __Spaces__."

[//]: # "To us, it is the digital boundary that encapsulates the entire operational identity of an organization:"

[//]: # "its payment infrastructure, financial operations, access policies, team roles,"

[//]: # "and real-time event streams all into one secure, programmable environment."

[//]: #

[//]: # "But what makes this model truly powerful is how we deliberately decouple the individual — called a __monimeer__ — from the business entity they operate within."

[//]: # "A monimeer is a personal user account that exists independently of any specific organization or Space."

[//]: # "This abstraction allows the same developer, finance operator, or admin to participate in multiple Spaces, each with its own isolated set of roles, permissions, and access scopes."

[//]: #

[//]: # "This design unlocks flexible and secure collaboration, enabling scenarios such as:"

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Developers working across multiple products or clients,"

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Agencies managing several businesses under one login,"

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Finance teams overseeing subsidiaries or business units."

[//]: #

[//]: # "By cleanly separating personal identity from organizational context, we prevent cross-organization data entanglement, simplify access control, and ensure that every action is executed strictly within the scope of a Space and in the context of the acting Monimeer."

[//]: #

[//]: # "Within each Space:"

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Access is role-based, scoped specifically to that Space."

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Personal Access Tokens (PATs) issued by Monimeers inherit only the permissions granted to them in that space."

[//]: #

[//]: # "* All resources — accounts, transactions, and permissions — are strictly sandboxed within their Space, ensuring zero leakage across tenants."

[//]: #

[//]: #

[//]: # "This separation of individual from organization gives businesses:"

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Clear ownership boundaries across teams and external collaborators."

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Scalable developer onboarding without risk to internal operations."

[//]: #

[//]: # "* Fine-grained permissioning that reflects real-world business structure."

[//]: #

[//]: # "This inversion of control is what makes Monime not just multi-tenant, but multi-organization, multi-team, and multi-use-case by design."
